Boston Pride Facebook Page to Post Celebrity Videos Daily throughout Pride Week To Celebrate 45TH Anniversary: #WickedProud

Celebrities including Tony-award winning actress, singer and comedian Carol Channing, Julie Newmar, the original Catwoman, and the American girl group Fifth Harmony are lining up to send their best wishes to Boston Pride for this year’s 45th Anniversary: “WickedProud.” Starting on the first day of Pride Week, Friday, June 5, Boston Pride will post a daily celebrity greeting to the Facebook page with customized messages to the LGBT community. 2015 Boston Pride Week is June 5 – 14.

This is the fifth year that Boston Pride will be posting celebrity videos in support of Pride Week and the local LGBT community. Boston Pride now has a collection of more than 50 celebrity greetings featuring the highly viewed videos of Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Whoopi Goldberg, the Kardashians and Lady Gaga.

“The celebrity support we have received over the past five years is truly gratifying,” said Sylvain Bruni, Boston Pride President. “We are thrilled that celebrities from all over the world are sending ‘Happy Pride’ wishes especially during this special year when we are celebrating our 45th anniversary.”
