Join us for a screening of the documentary TRANSFORME, an investigation into the lives of four transgender teenagers. Alex, Dan, Luna, and Piper share their personal stories about coming out, and the difficulties and triumphs they faced throughout the process. A panel discussion on trans youth will follow the screening. The panel will be moderated by Maxwell Ng, chair of the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC).

The event will be held at Fenway Health, 1340 Boylston St, Boston, Massachusetts 02215, on Saturday, November 21st starting at 10:30am.

About Maxwell Ng

Maxwell NgMaxwell Ng currently serves as Chair of the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC), a group dedicated to ending discrimination on the basis of gender identity and gender expression. With MTPC he is currently working on legislation to protect trans people in public accommodations.

Maxwell also serves on the Steering Committee for the Queer Asian Pacific-Islander Alliance (QAPA), an organization committed to providing a supportive social, political, and educational environment for LGBTQ people of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage in the Boston area. Founded in 1979, QAPA, is the oldest Asian queer organization in the US.

And he is also a founding player and coach of the TrailStormers, the Boston based softball team dedicated to creating a fun and safe space for gender non-conforming and Trans people.

Maxwell enjoys playing softball with his teammates, queer geek pop culture, speaking in the third person, and cooking.
