BP16_Pride_Guide_teamBuilding upon the successful publication of our second annual Boston Pride Guide in 2016, we are looking for a talented and dedicated individual to join our all-volunteer editorial staff as Assistant Editor.

The Assistant Editor will collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief and the Associate Editor and play an active role at all stages of the 2017 Guide’s production: helping assemble a team of contributors, liaising with writers and ensuring timely submission of their content, editing and fact-checking copy, writing copy for event pages, and reviewing digital proofs.

Candidates should possess strong language and interpersonal communication skills, and should be self-motivated, highly organized, and attentive to detail.

As diversity is a critical value of the publication, people of color and individuals from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

To express interest in the position and/or to inquire further about the opportunity, please contact the Editor-in-Chief, Michael Anthony Fowler, via e-mail. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, until the position is filled.
