Boston, MA – Considering that the proposed National Pride March on Washington, DC for June 11 would occur on the same weekend as Boston Pride, we are working diligently to identify the best outcome to ensure our various communities continue to have safe spaces at the local and regional level, while recognizing the larger, national conversation.

To that effect, Boston Pride is currently in discussions with InterPride, the international association of Pride organizers, and the leadership team of Capital Pride DC, which organizes the LGBT Pride celebration in Washington, DC, which are themselves both in direct contact with the individual who proposed a National Pride March.

Because this matter is complex in its logistics and impact, and because it involves a plethora of stakeholders nationwide, we ask for your patience. Boston Pride will publish updates on its website as this process moves forward.
