Malcolm Carey – Clerk, Board of Directors
Malcolm is not shy about telling anyone who asks “I joined Pride to meet
guys”. In January 2004 during a blizzard Malcolm walked into the first
annual volunteer recruitment meeting that year and has been with pride
ever since.
Over the years he has been heavily involved in the production of the Pride
Parade and done a little bit of just about every job there is to do for
Pride. In 2008, Malcolm joined the board of directors as a member of the
finance committee, applying his 9-5 job knowledge to the organization he’s
grown to love.
In his imaginary free time, Malcolm likes to spend his time crocheting,
playing Dungeons and Dragons and wasting endless hours with his Pokemon.

Committee Chairs
Heather Mills– Logistics Chair
This is Heather’s second year as the Logistics Chair. Heather attended her first Boston Pride in 2004 and loved it so much that, after graduate school, she decided to join the committee. She enjoys her role as the Logistics Chair as it gives her the opportunity to work with all of the other committees of Pride and see the "whole picture" of how it’s put together. She has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunities that being on the Pride Committee has given her to be more involved in the LGBT community in Boston.
Heather is a native of the Puget Sound region of Washington State and the Central Coast of California (and it still getting used to New England winters!). She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Wheaton College and a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her day job includes working in IT for a software company in Boston. Outside of work and Pride, Heather enjoys just about every outdoor/athletic activity, sci-fi/fantasy, hanging out with friends, cooking from scratch and reading up on/practicing sustainable living.

Cale Moore – Merchandise Chair
This is Cale’s third year working with the Boston Pride Committee. He started attending Boston Pride meetings as a way to become active in the community. Later in the year he became more involved when he was asked to help co-chair Merchandising. Cale’s favorite thing about Pride is the getting to meet all the different people that make our community so diverse and interesting. As a new committee member he hopes to bring a fresh and exciting perspective to the group. Cale lives in Dorchester, teaches mathematics, and coaches swimming. He enjoys cooking, biking and swimming when he can get the chance.
