Boston Pride is pleased to announce that the applications for the Parade and Festival are now available on our website. As an incentive to register early, we are offering a 20% discount to participants who sign up before March 1st.
The 40th Anniversary Pride Parade will be held on Saturday, June 12th and kicks off at 12 noon, rain or shine. The event attracts over a million attendees with participants ranging from small non-profit marching groups to elaborate floats that can be seen and heard a mile away. The parade starts in the Back Bay area, passes around the Boston Common, and ends at City Hall Plaza where participants can enjoy the Festival.
The Pride Festival will also be held on Saturday, June 12th at City Hall Plaza from 12 noon – 6pm. Last year the festival boasted over 100,000 attendees, over 100 vendors and merchants, and fantastic local and national talent on stage. The Festival is also home to Pride’s Celebrity Garden, where you can relax and mingle while catching a bird’s eye view of the festivities below.
Both of these events are excellent and fun ways to show your support for the LGBT community and< gain a lot of exposure for your business or group. We hope to see you all there as we commemorate the progress made in the Gay Rights Movement thus far and ensure future victories in our pursuit of true and full equality.
