As we approach our 40th Anniversary, the Boston Pride Committee would like to thank you for your interest in donating to New England's largest Pride celebration. We are grateful that you understand the importance of joining our efforts.
Each year, the Boston Pride Committee organizes a week of highly successful, important and exciting Pride events and activities, with over 1 million people participating in the festivities. In addition, now that the Boston Pride Committee has hired its first-ever full time employee, we will be working to effect change throughout the year by developing new educational and human rights programming, and increasing our collaborations with other community groups and friends.
As you may be able to guess, the cost of organizing Pride events and activities continues to escalate. As we move into this new phase of growth with the hopes of broadening our scope of services, widening our geographical reach, and increasing our impact on the national and global scene, it is more important than ever that we have a solid base of community support.
