Festival Schedule
- 7:00 am to 10:00 am: Vendors arrive for check-in and set up.
- 12:00 pm: Festival and Entertainment starts, rain or shine!
- 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm: The Parade arrives at the Festival, the last stop on the route!
Festival Location
The Festival is located at City Hall Plaza, the last stop on the Parade route. Here you will find the entertainment stage, the Celebrity Garden (for the 21+ crowd!), over 100 merchandise, community, and business vendors, and the Family Fun Zone (ages 1 to 100 are welcome!)
Directions
It is strongly recommended that you arrive at the Boston Pride Festival by "T". Given the large amount of people present in the city for the day's events, traffic will likely be highly congested and parking will be limited.
By T: Take the Green or Blue lines to Government Center.
Entertainment
|
Boston Pride is proud to announce Kristine W, Cece Peniston, and God-Des & She will be featured on the City Hall Plaza Main Stage. As we approach Pride, expect this year's stellar lineup to be available here! |
Vendors
|
|
In 2009, the Pride Festival hosted over 100 vendors who provided everything from Pride-themed merchandise (look for the official Boston Pride tent!) to fun giveaways, pet and home supplies, services, clothing, and information pamphlets. |

Advice for Visitors
- Pack appropriately! The Boston Pride Festival is a rain or shine event, so plan accordingly for the weather conditions. Consider bringing sunscreen, a hat or sunglasses, and an umbrella or raincoat.
- Have fun!
- Watch out for kids - Make sure children are safe. As the crowds pour in from the Parade it may become difficult to keep an eye on the little ones. Consider moving to the Family Zone until the Parade is complete.
- Respect the instructions from the Festival Staff and Volunteers - These individuals will be clearly distinguishable from the crowd. They are there to help you remain safe, provide information and add to your enjoyment of the day!
Festival Registration

Vehicle Regulations
Registered vendors will be provided with a check-in time for the Festival. During this time they will be allowed one vehicle onto Boston City Hall Plaza to assist with set up of their booth. Please note that vendors wishing to bring a vehicle onto City Hall Plaza must indicate as such on their online registration form.
- Access is restricted to 2-axle vehicles only. There are no exceptions to this rule.
- At check-in, registrants are provided with a 15 minute vehicle access pass. Additional time will not be permitted so that other registrants can access the plaza for their set up.
- Please enter the Plaza from Cambridge Street and exit only via Court Street. Posted signage, as well as Festival Staff, will be available to direct you on and off the Plaza.
Insurance
All Vendors are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance for their space in order to participate in the Festival.
Insurance certificates must be received at least one week prior to the event. Failure to comply will result in your organization's inability to check-in on the day of the event. At the time of online registration, Boston Pride provides an option for insurance to be purchased from Casswood Insurance Agency. Please see the registration form for details.
Insurance certificates should be mailed to:
The Boston Pride Committee
ATTN: Festival Operations
398 Columbus Ave. #285
Boston, MA 02116
Or sent via email to festival@bostonpride.org.
Food Regulations
Boston Pride does not allow any unregistered vendors to sell or distribute food or consumables of any kind at the Festival. This rule includes water and soda as well. If you have any questions regarding this rule, please contact festival@bostonpride.org.
Advice for Vendors
- Arrive on time! You will be assigned a check-in time during which you will be granted vehicle access to City Hall Plaza (See Vehicle Regulations above). Arriving within your assigned timeframe will ensure that all vendors are given adequate time for set up.
- Respect the instructions from the Festival Staff and Volunteers - These individuals will be clearly distinguishable from the crowd. They are there to help you remain safe, provide information and help you enjoy the day!
- Have fun! That is one of the reasons you chose to participate, after all. Visitors, other vendors, and Festival staff and volunteers alike, are present to showcase their Pride and show support!
