Latino Pride Community Awards Reception 2013!

Join us for the annual celebration to honor outstanding contributors to the Latin@ LGBT community.

Each year, the Latin@ Pride Committee Honor Community Groups, and/or Community Member and Allies.

The Ejemplar Award Will be awarded to Javier Pagan. This award honors a Latin@ LGBTQ individual who has made valuable and significant contributions to our community and thus serves as a role model to all of us. The committee was in strong favor of giving this award to Javier Pagan because of his longstanding support and commitment of Latin@ Pride. Not only is he a member of the community and is willing to give of his time to support this organization and many other causes, but he is an example of a Latino LGBTQ individual that has done so much good in our city.

The Solidaridad Award will be Award to The Rainbow Times. This award honors an organization that has shown support for our Latin@ LGBTQ Community and Latin@ Pride through a collaborative and inclusive presence. The committee was in strong favor of giving this award to the Rainbow Times because of the longstanding promotion of Latin@ Pride. Not only are they a Latino owned and run business, they have given their resources and time to ensure that the community is aware of our events and mission.

The Alianza Award honors an organization or individual who has shown dedication and commitment to supporting our local Latin@ LGBTQ Community.

Attire is cocktail reception/business casual.
All proceeds from this event benefit Latin@ Pride.
