Show your support for Boston Pride 2008 and your community by becoming a Pride volunteer. Everyone from our Pride Committee Board of Directors, to our event coordinators and team members fulfill their assignments with determination and dedication. As a volunteer you start making a difference and have fun while it happens!

There are volunteer opportunities for people of almost all skills, backgrounds, and ability levels. The majority of our Pride volunteers will be needed at the Pride Parade and Festival. There will be an orientation for each event. In recognition of your support and as a token of our appreciation each Boston Pride 2008 volunteer will receive a 2008 Pride t-shirt.

The Boston Pride Committee, Inc. has been certified by the Criminal History Systems Board to conduct background checks and may access an applicant's criminal background record for the purpose of screening otherwise qualified individuals interested in volunteering with our agency. Note that conviction of a crime is not an automatic bar to participation. All circumstances will be considered on an individual basis and subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
