During Boston Pride Week, our community honors people and organizations who have contributed to the advancement of LGBT rights, visibility and acceptance in the Greater Boston area and beyond.
Our 2011 Theme is “EQUALITY. No More. No less.” Please keep this Theme in mind as you nominate Marshals and select a person or organization who you feel embodies the theme’s message.
The nomination period will be open until 11:59pm on Monday, April 25 and the voting period will open shortly afterwords. Stay tuned to our website or follow us on twitter for ongoing updates.
i think Jennifer Beals or Laurel Holloman but i really think laurel because Jennifer Beals was already a grand Marshal it will be good tho if you can have both
I would love to nominate myself for this honor. I have yet to see a mainstream transgendered person who encourages others to be who they are and to have the confidence and “pride” in being who they are…I am local and I have a long list of accomplishments both in the mainstream as well as the LGBT Community, including events such as charities, entertainment, and activist work…
I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience…

SISTERS FAMILY
Ashley,
Thanks for getting in touch about our Marshal Nomination process. The blog post to which you commented had a link to submit Marshal Nominations via an online survey and the deadline was April 25th. Please consider entering next year! Also just so you know that our trans family is important to us, Gunner Scott and MTPC were honored a few years ago. Hope to see you in June!
