Seven New Acts Announced for Boston Pride 2013 Festival
Singers, Dance Bands, DJs, Drag Queens and More to Entertain!

Boston (May 3, 2013)– Boston Pride announced today that an additional seven musical acts will perform at this year’s  Boston Pride Festival being held on Saturday, June 8th from noon to 6pm at Boston’s City Hall Plaza. From dance pop stars to drag queens to DJs and rock stars, the Festival has something for everyone.  These acts will be in addition to headline performer Karmin which is scheduled to take the stage last. The Boston Pride Festival will also feature special guests hosts Jim Clerkin of KISS 108 and Fast Freddy Murphy of Mix 104.1, as well as emcees Abby Cummings and Liza Lott.

The Festival is the last stop on the Boston Pride Parade route and will host entertainment, the Family Zone, the Main Stage Bar and Lounge and more than 100 vendors for people of all ages. The Festival will also provide an area with accommodations for seniors and others to rest and enjoy free chair massages.

Boston Pride Week 2013 will be held from May 31st through June 9th. This year’s theme is “Moving Forward… Proud, Strong, United.” Kicking the week o ff with the annual Flag Raising ceremony, 2013 Pride Week will also include Pride Day @ Faneuil Hall, the Royal Pageant, the Boston Pride Parade, the Boston Pride Festival, the Boston Pride Youth Dance, the Boston Pride Block Party: JP Edition, the  Boston Pride Block Party: Back Bay Edition, a panel discussion on “LGBTs in and Sports” and the first ever Pride Night @ Fenway Park.
