AIDS MEMORIAL QUILT EXHIBIT

SECTIONS OF THE NOBEL PRIZE-NOMINATED AIDS MEMORIAL QUILT—the 54-ton, handmade tapestry that memorializes more than 90,000 individuals lost to AIDS—will be on display for public viewing at the UMass Boston Campus Center, 2nd floor terrace.

UMASS BOSTON INVITES YOU TO MARK WORLD AIDS DAY 2015. Please join Chancellor J. Keith Motley and the University of Massachusetts Boston community for a reception featuring the Honorable Carl Sciortino, former state representative and the executive director of AIDS Action Committee. Enjoy light refreshments, view the AIDS Memorial Quilt, and hear from Sciortino regarding the importance of the history and the future of the AIDS epidemic. This reception is free to the UMass Boston Community.
