PRIDE NIGHT VIP

New this year is a pre-game VIP Meet and Greet with Billy Bean, MLB’s Vice-President, Social Responsibility & Inclusion. All tickets for the VIP Package include access to this event, a Food and Beverage buffet in the Champions Club, and a copy of Billy Bean’s book Going the Other Way: An Intimate Memoir of Life In and Out of Major League Baseball. Space is limited for this event.

Billy Bean serves as MLB’s Vice-President, Social Responsibility & Inclusion. His role is to provide awareness of baseball’s social responsibility initiatives, with a particular focus on LGBT inclusion, and to communicate resources to all players, coaches, managers, umpires, employees, and stakeholders throughout MLB to ensure an equitable, inclusive, and supportive workplace for everyone.

On June 14, 2014, Bean was announced at Major League Baseball’s first-ever Ambassador for Inclusion. He played in the Major Leagues from 1987-1995. Bean broke into the big leagues with the Detroit Tigers, and tied a major league record with four hits in his first game. He went on to play for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres. Bean was a two-time “All-America” outfielder at Loyola Marymount University before graduating with a degree in Business Administration. He is also an advisory board member of the Sports Equality Foundation, aimed at providing support to LGBT athletes, coaches, and team leaders in every sport.
