Honoring Those We Lost to the HIV/AIDS Epidemic
The long-standing tradition of illuminating the majestic evergreen tree on the Plaza at the Boston Center for the Arts endures: in 2018, Boston Pride and the BCA are partnering again to light up the tree in pink lights, in remembrance of those who are no longer here. The event will feature a lineup of artists and performances in celebration of Pride Week. Through the performing arts, our community remembers, honors, and makes visible those whom we lost to the HIV/AIDS epidemic since the early days of our community.
