NEWSLETTER - Vol. 4 No. 5 Red and Yellow and Pink and GREEN!
Boston Pride is putting on the green this Earth Day! After meeting a super-enthusiastic response from the community—and being successful at significantly reducing our waste and carbon footprint in 2008, Boston Pride’s Green Initiative is back in 2009!
Our "Recycle, Reduce, Reuse" effort will be implemented again at all events and in our business practices including recycling at the Festival, Parade and Block Parties. We will be reducing the use of paper and one-use items; promoting the use of public transportation, car-sharing and bikes; and reusing as many resources year-to-year as possible, including banners, signs and decorations. Learn more and join us at BostonPride.org/green.
