Boston Pride announced today that the second annual Pride Night at Fenway Park will take place as part of 2014 Pride Week festivities. Boston’s LGBT community will be recognized at the Boston Red Sox vs. Cleveland Indians baseball game at Fenway Park on Thursday, June 12th at 7:10p.m.

“For the second year in a row, Boston Pride is delighted to be working with the Boston Red Sox on Pride Night at Fenway Park,” said Boston Pride President, Sylvain Bruni. “We had a great inaugural event last year and we hope that this continues as a Boston Pride Week tradition.”

In 2013, the addition of Pride Night at Fenway Park was the first time that a major league sports team had hosted a Pride Night.

“We had more than 400 attend Pride Night at Fenway Park last year and it was a great night for the LGBT community. We truly appreciate the support from the Boston Red Sox, a strong ally to the LGBT community,” Bruni said.
